Family Story:
David was born October 14, 1881 Morwell to father David Ogilvy. His brother Thomas (b) 1885 also served in WW1 657, 13th Light Horse.
David married after the war to Bertha Gladys Birdie from Launching place and they had three children, David Cecil (1923), Eric Airlie (b) 1925 and Bertha (b) – . David died at Poowong July 27, 1959 and was buried at Poowong Cemetery (Grave 2650). In 1967 Bertha was living at “Airlie” Ogilvy’s Road, Poowong. She died January 13, 1962.

Family Story:
Thomas was born in Morwell in 1885 to father David Ogilvy. Hhe had a brother David (b) 1881 who also served in WW1 (2650 8th Btn). At the time of enlisting in 1915 they were both living in Seville.
It is not known if he married or had family. Thomas died on October 6, 1947 in Poowong, aged 61 years. He was buried in Poowong Cemetery.

Family Story:
Frank was born 1887 Heywood Victoria to parents Charles Olle and Julia Slater. At the time of his enlistment in 1914 his father was deceased. Frank had 4 brothers and sisters. His second name Jubilee was taken after the Queen Victoria Golden Jubilee celebration in 1887. He spent 2 years as Corporal in Navy Reserve 1907-1909 before enlisting.
Frank was head teacher at Wyuna East State School 1908-1910, and in charge of local Gruyere school when he enlisted. He played cricket with Coldstream and Football with Lilydale.
He is mentioned on the grave stone of his parents in the Boram Boram Cemetery Victoria.

Family Story:
Arthur was born 1893 Prahran Victoria to parents Charles Orenshaw and Ellen Jane Atkinson. He had two brothers Leslie, and Willian Henry who died of wounds received WW1 (3871). After the war he became an engine driver and lived in Leongatha, he married Annie Louisa Donaldson and they had children Charles Herbert, Stanley Arthur, Alan and Joan. He died April 6, 1972 Heidelberg aged 78 years and was buried at Leongatha. Annie died March 2002 aged 97years and is also buried Leongatha.
