Roy was born 1899 at Lilydale to parents Robert Langley and Emily Eliza Howard. In 1927 he married May Constance Fitch, family not known. Roy died in 1959 at Heidelberg, aged 60 years. May died 1970 at Box Hill, aged 71 years, they were cremated at Springvale.
