About Us
Formed in 1971, the Lilydale & District Historical Society is an incorporated association and affiliated with the Royal Historical Society of Victoria. We are located at the Old Lilydale Court House at 61 Castella Street, Lilydale.
We maintain an extensive paper-based archive on people, places and events of the area, including Dame Nellie Melba and her family.
The archive is open Fridays from 1 to 4pm, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays from 11am to 4pm.
