Family Story:Edith Yeaman was born at Rochester in 1884 and came to Montrose with the family c1896, when her father William Bunyan Yeaman started a shop and later Post Office.
After returning from service, she helped her mother run a woman’s guesthouse "Mountain Rest” in Mt. Dandenong Road Montrose.
Edith Died on January 6: 1963 in Mosman NSW.

Family Story:Lindsay was born in 1889 Williamstown to parents William Bunyan Yeaman and (Henrietta) Harriett Mary Ann Wilson.
His parents owned and ran the Montrose Store and Post Office c1896-1913. His sister Edith Wilson Yeaman was a Nurse/Sister and served with 3rd Aust. Army Hospital –Lemnos, and brother Wilfred Charles Yeaman No.1106 served 31st and 46th Btn, and in 1919 joined the Russian Relief Forces, with the 201st Btn. British Army.

In 1931 he was living at 2 The Boltons Newcastle NSW. It is not known if he married or had family, He died in 1941 in Hornsby NSW.

Louis was born 1899 in Holbrook NSW to parents Frederick Howard Yoxon and Marion Carle. He had siblings – Frederick Charles (1898) also served in WW1 (15459), Marion b & d (1904), Neil Crawford ( 1907).
Railway Porter Yoxon was no. 15 to sign up to enlist and follow the flag. (Lilydale Express May 11, 1917).
In 1934 Louis married Jessie Harston Gray (BDM). In 1977 he died at Highett and was cremated at Springvale Cemetery September 13, 1977. Jessie was also cremated at Springvale May 3, 1979. Family is not known.
